Scripture:  Mark 10:19-22

If you picked up a hot burning coal, would you keep holding onto it?  Absolutely not because you know that if you keep holding on to it, it will create a tremendous amount of pain.  In life, we need to learn this same lesson and let go of things that can cause us great harm.
​
This Sunday (5-17-26), I will be sharing the second message in the 4-part Sermon Series (Anchor) entitled, “What Are You Holding Onto?” and it will focus on Mark 10:19-22.  There are many things in life that we hold on to that are dangerous, painful, and that keep us from growing spiritually.  When we encounter such things, we need to let go.
