We gathered together on April 26th and celebrated the faithful ministry of Mae Settles. Mae, has been a pillar of strength and inspiration to all of us. Her dedication to serving the Lord and spreading His love has touched countless lives within our congregation and beyond.
As Mae and Clarence prepare to embark on a new chapter in North Carolina, we cannot help but feel a mix of emotions. While we will deeply miss their presence and the impact they have had on our church, we are filled with joy and anticipation for the next steps in their journey. We know that God has amazing plans in store for them and we are excited to see how He will continue to use them to further His kingdom.
Mae and Clarence, remember that no matter where life may take you, you will always be a part of our church family. Your friendship and faithfulness have left a lasting imprint on our hearts, and we are grateful for the time we have shared together. As the song goes, “Friends are friends forever, if the Lord’s the Lord of them,” and we know that our bond in Christ will never be broken.
So, as we bid farewell to Mae and Clarence, let us also celebrate the beautiful memories we have created together and look forward to the new blessings that await them. May God continue to guide and bless you both in all your endeavors. Friends truly are friends forever, and we are grateful to have had you in our lives.
